Fido Awarded the Gold Standard

Fido wins Best Arts, Culture or Sports Campaign for Shakespeare Week 2015 at the  CIPR PRide Awards

The category was hotly contested by some very worthy competition, but the judges deemed Fido’s campaign to be worthy of a Gold, and summed up with this statement:

“Having identified some clearly quantified objectives, this ambitious campaign succeeded in turning what might otherwise have been merely another cultural week into something that was pertinent, engaging and well delivered.

It drew on a diverse range of well thought through platforms and channels and employed a number of appropriate tactics to reach its ultimate target audience of young people.”

We are now planning for Shakespeare Week 2016, which will see much of our early groundwork really coming into play, with media partnerships with the BBC, First News and more exciting developments on the cards.

So when we say, would you like to be a part of an award winning team, we really mean it…. 

Fido is looking for someone to join its team; someone with a great enthusiasm and intuition for PR, with two plus years agency experience (or a strong equivalent) and a very genuine interest in working on projects that span culture, tourism, heritage and arts.  Our PR makes a difference and we want someone who will make a difference to Fido PR.

* A work project meant that we couldn’t be there for the award ceremony, so friend of Fido, Erin Portsmouth, did us the honour of representing us.  Erin is current Head of Communications and  Engagement  for the NHS and Chair of North West CIPR  and a former account director for Fido PR.
