This year marks the fifth Ramsbottom Festival with The Proclaimers, Idlewild and The Wonderstuff headlining a superb line-up of live music acts and a brand new family stage is dedicated to live arts and performances throughout the weekend.

The stunning live arts programme includes a walking mechanical art installation and street theatre show, The Marie Celestial that was commissioned in conjunction with Glastonbury Festival; Acrojou Circus Theatre brings The Wheel House, a show that unfolds inside and around a circular set as it rolls; the ancient art of Stone Balancing, showing kids how to make amazing and seemingly impossible creations from natural materials; The Town Band of Bremen performed by Fabularium follows four animals who all share a passion for music and features live music, masks and puppetry.

Also performing will be the glamorous 1950s dancers, Soul Rebel Tap who will tear up the stage taking the optimism and prosperity of the time and putting it into their tap shoes and Parkour Generations, the largest professional organisation for the movement discipline known as parkour or freerunning.

Ramsbottom Festival takes place from Friday 18 – Sunday 20 September 2015 at Ramsbottom Cricket Club, get there by public transport and festival shuttle buses every half hour from Bury town centre.  Camping next to the festival is also available.  All information is available here www.ramsbottomfestival.com
