Much Wenlock 2012

Amid the noise created around London 2012 there was one story that stood out on a global scale.

This was the story of Much Wenlock, a small market town in Shropshire that was once the home of Dr William Penny Brookes. It was Brookes' vision for a modern International Olympic Games that influenced Pierre de Coubertin to establish the games as we now know them, with the first taking place in 1896 in Athens.

Helping to turn up the volume on this epic story was the task of Fido PR.
